Zachary Bassin
VICE PRESIDENT

Zach Bassin joined Prism Real Estate Services, LLC in 2014, and was charged with assisting in the growth of both the commercial portfolio as well as the multi-family portfolio. In addition to joining the PRES Acquisitions Team, Zach can be credited with managing capital projects. With the commercial portfolio expansion, Zach was promoted to Director of Commercial Management. More recently, Zach was made Vice President with the duty of working with the COO and Principal in the general administration and oversight of the commercial portfolio, commercial leasing and brokerage, development, and construction management divisions of Prism.

Prior to joining Prism Real Estate Services, LLC in 2014, Zach was the Chief Operating Officer and responsible for vendor services, facility acquisitions, negotiation, development and construction for a charter school in Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to this position, Zach performed as a Legal Analyst for two large Kansas City firms as well as working for the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office.

Zach received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law after receiving his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Kansas. Zach serves on boards of directors for Brookside Soccer Club and The Temple, Congregation B'nai Jehudah. As a member of the Lewis White Real Estate Advisory Board at the University of Missouri Kansas City Bloch School of Management, Zach also mentors students in the master's degree program.

Zach, a licensed attorney admitted under the Missouri Bar and is currently practicing at the Bassin, Young and Barjenbruch, LLC. The firm currently serves landlord clients in an ever-complex landlord tenant environment.

Zach currently resides in Prairie Village, Kansas with his wife and three sons.
