It's a great community. It's convenient for my work and for going shopping. Everything is around where I need it to be. Walmart is not too far, IVs are right here, the post office, and everything else is around here. It's just a great community.

Read MoreHonestly, I have not had any problems with this apartment! Maintenance is speedy quick, which is super awesome! The location is honestly the best, close to the highway, a skip and a jump to downtown, "chef's kiss". What I love most is that the staff here are very nice and understanding. If I have any issues, I just let them know. I never feel belittled or ignored. I feel heard. The units are older, but who cares? You can't find a rate like this anymore. I'm just grateful every day to have a place I feel safe and call home!

The location is great, being by a Hy-Vee and relatively close to KU campus, with a bus stop nearby. The units also contain the amenities I love, with a clothes washer, dryer, and dishwasher.

Read MoreI am most appreciative of Dani and Jami processing my in-person work order on April 17. I never know until the last minute when I am able to burn some vacation days. The requests were simple, standard ones; however, I was never able to get male friends to help me.
Shawn and Johnny, what can I say? First - I was surprised I was their first stop of the day (I was very appreciative of this). Second - friendly and courteous. They understood why I had made such maintenance requests to replace the large kitchen light (I couldn't have done it by myself as it took both of them as well as them shutting off the power for a short time) and reposition the smoke alarm (number of years of removing for battery replacement had enlarged the anchoring hole and I was worried I would make it worse in using a small electric drill. They moved it and I painted over the hole - you would never know it!). My last request, if they had time, was to replace a bedroom curtain rod that over the years had just became loose and when replacing a new curtain, the rod would not stay in place. They realigned and hung the curtain in minutes!
In summary, I was most appreciative of the overall professionalism and maintenance work, especially for a woman who lives alone. Thank you Clear View Staff!

Read MoreYou definitely get for what you pay for, it's comfortable for the price. The landscaping is really well taken care of, and management does actually listen when you bring up issues. That being said, it is still an apartment complex so it's not the most quiet place to live, and you'll definitely be aware of all of your neighbors at some point. But it does seem to be a community where if you have issues and you talk with your neighbors about them they tend to listen and try to compromise with you.
